WAIT – To stay or rest in expectation; to stop or remain stationary till the arrival of some person or event; to rest in patience; to stay; not to depart.
Yea, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; let those who vainly sin be ashamed. Make me know Your ways, O YHWH; teach me Your paths; lead me in Your truth and teach me; for You are the elohim of my salvation; on You I wait all the day long.

Our soul waits for YHWH; He is our help and shield.

REWARDS OF WAITING ON YHWH
DISCOVER YHWH’S WILL AND PURPOSE.
Make me know Your ways, O YHWH teach me Your paths;
(Psalm 25:4)
Trust in YHWHwith all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
(Proverbs 3:5-6)
RECEIVE SUPERNATURAL ENERGY AND STRENGTH TO WAIT.
Have you not known? Have you not heard? YHWH, the everlasting EL the Creator of the ends of the earth; He is not faint, nor does He grow weary; there is no searching to His understanding. He gives power to the faint, and to him with no vigor He increases might. Even youths are faint and fatigued, and young men stumbling shall stumble; but the ones waiting for YHWH shall renew power; they shall go up with wings as the eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not be faint!

WIN BATTLES OF LIFE.
YHWH takes pleasure in those who fear Him, those who hope in His mercy.

Only to YHWH is my soul silent; from Him comes my salvation. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my strong tower; I shall not be greatly moved.

And Moses said to the people, Do not be afraid. Take your stand and see the salvation of YHWH, which He will prepare for you today. For as you see the Egyptians today, you shall not continue to see them again forever. YHWH will fight for you, and you be silent. (Exodus 14:13-14)

SEE FULFILLMENT OF OUR FAITH.

SEE YHWH WORKING IN OUR BEHALF.
And from forever they have not heard; they did not give ear. Eye has not seen an elohim except You, who works for him who waits for Him.

Receive Blessings YHWH Has For Us.
For evildoers shall be cut off; and the ones waiting on YHWH they shall inherit the earth. (Psalm 37:9)
YHWH is good to those waiting on Him, to the soul seeking Him.
(Lamentations 3:25)
And so YHWH waits to be gracious to you. And for this He is exalted to have mercy on you; for YHWH is an elohim of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him. (Isaiah 30:18)
REQUIREMENTS TO WAITING ON YHWH
FAITH.
You must be willing to trust YHWH to work out the situation even when you do not know how, when or why.
HUMILITY.
You must accept that will can do nothing to help.
PATIENCE.
You must be willing to remain calm and quiet in meidst of turmoil without whining, complaining, or manipulating the circumstances.
COURAGE.
You must have courage to resist:
Your own schedule.
Peer pressure/criticism to move or act.
Fear of failure.
CONSEQUENCES OF NOT WAITING ON YHWH.
BEING OUT OF YHWH’S WILL.
MISS BLESSINGS YHWH HAS PLANNED FOR YOU.
CAUSE SELF AND OTHERS PAIN, HEARTACHE, AND GRIEF.
BRING CONFUSION INTO YOUR LIFE.
Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity.
